Causes of the occurrence of cellulite

Cellulite is a common and completely harmless condition of the skin, in which lesions, irregularities and waves occur on the thighs, hip, buttocks and belly. In rarer cases, it can also be observed on breasts and arms. The cause of formation of cellulite is retention of fluids and fats between the skin and the subcutaneous tissue. When the bodyfails to burn local fat, it is accumulated along with water in different parts of the tissue, increases its volume and compresses blood vessels. In its most severe type, cellulite forms depressions in theskin – the so-called „orange skin“.

Little is known about the exact cause of cellulite. What is certain is that hormonal factors play and important role in its development as well as heredity. The majority of women develop some type of cellulite after puberty. Other factors are aging, sedentary lifestyle, pregnancy and overweight (although cellulite can be observed also in slim and healthy people).

The procedure is painless. One can feel a slight heating in the treated area, which is often compared to a hot massage. The number of procedures is individual and should be discussed with a specialist in advance. In accordance with the protocol, 4 to 8 procedures performed every other week are recommended.

TempSure®

TempSure® is a device with which belly, arms, thighs, love handles and buttocks can be treated. The device heats tissues in depth uniformly, reducing cellulite and fatty formations in a concrete area, tightening the skin and improving its texture. The specially designed Therapeutic Logic Control programme shows when the tissue reaches the required 39 degrees, and after this moment counting of 5 treatment minutes for each areabegins.

The procedure is painless and the majority of cases require 3 to 6 sessions at a 7-10-day interval, followed by monthly maintenance therapy It can be administered throughout the whole year and there is no recovery period. In the first 24 hours after a procedure, saunas, steam rooms, heating procedures and workouts should be avoided. For the achievement of maximal effect, daily intake of a large amount of water, regular sports and following a dietetic regimen is recommended

Maximus

Maximus is a device using tripolar radio frequency. It heats tissues in depth – the dermis and hypodermis. Therapy with Maximus is applicable to all types of skin. It has three tips that are specifically designated for different body parts. The face tip stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin by heating tissues, visibly reducing wrinkles and tightening the skin. A procedure takes about one hour for the whole face. The effect on the body includes contraction of the cells of fatty tissue, shaping, skin tightening and reduction of cellulite. About 30 minutes are required for each area.

The device also has a DMA (Dynamic Muscle Activation) feature, which targets different layers of muscle with electric current using periods of stimulation and relaxation. The intensity, duration and number of contractions can be changed and adjusted. In this way, muscle density is increased and lymph is drained through muscle contraction.

A procedure is performed every 7 days, as a maximal effect usually requires between 6 and 8 therapies. This is then followed by maintenance procedures – one procedure monthly.

Anti-cellulite mesotherapy

Anti-cellulite mesotherapy is performed with an indirect lypolyzing solution comprised of a non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, L-carnitine, caffeine, micronutrients, saponins and flavonoids. Injecting these ingredients in skin leads to the smoothing of irregularities on the skin surface resulting from cellulite, reducing the volume of local fat accumulation in the area.

The therapy is administered at a 10-14-day interval, as 4-6 procedures are required. The course can be repeated 1-3 times per year depending on the results achieved.
Following a procedure, avoiding extreme temperatures, saunas/steam rooms, direct exposure to sunlight or UV is recommended.

BTL Lymphastim

BTL Lymphastim is a device for lymphatic drainage. The procedure stimulates the movement of lymph, thus facilitating the maintenance of body fluid balance and the removal of harmful microorganisms and bacteria entering the body. It has a revitalizing effect on the skin – it is smooth and rejuvenated after just a few procedures. It also facilitates the removal of accumulated toxins and the struggle with cellulite by stimulating blood circulation.
