Prof. Lalas & Dr. Apalla – preventive examinations are important

During their two-day visit on December 13 and 14, Prof. Lalas and Dr. Apalla performed both a large number of preventive examinations and several dermatoscopies on patients who made appointments. As a result of one of them, the presence of melanoma was found in one of the examined patients. Prof. Lalas and Dr. Apalla expressed their strong belief that melanoma is curable if detected early. They shared their concern for patients with similar skin formations or a predisposition to the development of such and once again encouraged preventive dermatological examinations. 

We are glad that the presence of two of the world’s recognized specialists in the field of dermatology, and in particular – the fight against skin cancer, ended with a such a result and confirmed in a definitive way one of our beliefs – prevention and prophylaxis matter. 

Our entire team is convinced that in this way we have the opportunity to make access to dermatological care as easy and free as possible for people who have the greatest need for adequate medical care.
