The appearance of acne scars can be prevented with timely and correct treatment according to the prescriptions of our dermatologists. Even when the scars are already present, there are various procedures that, individually or in combination, can eliminate them.

Laser Genesis works by gently heating the deeper skin layers. This way we can stimulate the collagen synthesis by the fibroblasts. As a result the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is reduced along with tightening the pores, improving the overall tone and texture of the skin, and reducesing redness. In combination with the Cool view tip, mild to moderately active acne can be treated.

The Palomar Icon platform with the 1540 tip is a non-ablative laser procedure. The laser beam creates narrow, deep columns of coagulated tissue surrounded by healthy, untreated skin. This stimulates the skin to repair itself, replacing old and damaged skin with new, smoother and healthier skin.

CO2 is an ablative laser that removes layers of damaged skin. Also called laser resurfacing, where the skin is fully rejuvenated along with improvement in texture and firmness. Deep wrinkles, enlarged pores and deep scars are also significantly improved.

Youlaser MT Quanta Systems combines two wavelengths: 10,600nm (CO2) and 1540nm (Erbium Glass), for a simultaneous modality of ablative, non-ablative and mixed skin resurfacing. The procedure is considered the gold standard for reducing wrinkles, pigmentation, acne scars, skin tightening and pore size reduction.

Microneedling performs mechanical stimulation of collagen using fine needles that form microscopic canals in the epidermis. Through the small canals we introduce hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, drugs and active pigment molecules deep into the dermis. As a result of the fine needles, an increased production of new collagen and elastin is initiated.

Morpheus8 utilizes fractionated radio frequency energy, which has been proven to work towards stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin, necessary for smoothing the skin as a result of scarring. The procedure is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro needles to renew the deeper layers of the skin with a minimal recovery period.
