Non-surgical blepharoplasty with Plasma BT.
What is Plasma BT?
Plasma BT is the latest generation plasma device that combines the surgical capabilities of plasma technology (Plasma Surgical™) with aesthetic procedures. The device is also equipped with Plasma Shower™ technology.
Plasma BT provides non-surgical lifting of the upper and lower eyelids and treats wrinkles in the eye contour. Until recently, surgical blepharoplasty was the only method of removing excess skin on the upper and tightening the lower eyelid. However, there are now revolutionary new technologies in the direction of non-surgical blepharoplasty, such as the Plasma BT procedure. The therapy acts locally without damaging the surrounding tissue.
What is Plasma Surgical™?
The surgical tip is precise and does not affect the skin tissue cells. It only vaporizes the skin surface, creating small mesh-like contours on the eyelid surface. It can be used effectively for a variety of problems such as acne, scarring, and for non-surgical upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty.
What is Plasma Shower™?
A plasma tip that removes bacteria and helps absorb the medication into the skin. The powerful low-temperature atmospheric plasma on the skin surface sterilizes the skin, while ionized radicals stimulate skin repair and have antibacterial effects. They also facilitate transdermal delivery of substances, skin brightening and collagen formation. This tip prevents skin ageing by stimulating collagen and fibroblast formation.
What is the effect of plasma on human skin?
Plasma is the fourth state of matter after solid, liquid and gas. In the plasma state, gases are ionized by the high temperature and electric charge of the surrounding medium. It destroys bacteria and has a beneficial effect on cells, aiding their regeneration.
Unlike laser, it does not affect the skin, blood vessels or epidermal tissues, and has excellent results in the treatment of dermatological diseases, sterilization, absorption, skin regeneration, anti-pigmentation and increase elasticity.
What is the Plasma BT procedure?
-
- The procedure lasts about 50-60 minutes and has a quick recovery period.
- The number of procedures required depends on the amount of loose skin. If you have more loose eyelids, between 2 and 4 procedures may be needed.
- The interval between two procedures should be 30 days, as after treatment of the eye contour the production of new collagen occurs gradually over a period of about 6 weeks. The result achieved is maintained for up to 2 years.
- To minimize the feeling of discomfort, local anesthesia is applied.
- The procedure is recommended between the ages of 25 and 50. It is not recommended for people with very redundant and loose skin, as well as for people with skin prone to pigment spots.
