Laser System Excel V+
Cutera Excel V+ is a new generation laser technology that successfully treats 20 of the most common and stubborn skin conditions: rosacea, pigmentation, Spider varicosis and vascular lesions (dilated and “broken” capillaries), including brown and red spots, acne and acne scars, and many others.
The system combines two proven effective laser wavelengths – 532 nm and 1064 nm, and the patented long impulse Nd:YAG – to handle red, brown, purple and blue spots on the face and body in any skin type and up to 16 mm in size.

How many procedures are required?
With the innovative Excel V+ laser therapy, we achieve fast and long-lasting results within one to two sessions.

Is there pain and a recovery period?
Excel V+ works with short impulses during which you may experience heating and slight discomfort. Immediately after the session there will be some redness which usually disappears after a few hours.
Depending on the problem being treated and the size of the treatment area, your dermatologist may use a cooling gel to reduce discomfort. In the usual case, you can immediately return to your daily activities. After therapy, there is sometimes redness and/or swelling, which you can cover up with makeup.
In the case of whole face treatment, the swelling will peak 24 to 48 hours after therapy and usually subsides within a few days.
Treated brown spots will darken immediately after treatment and peel off within 3 to 5 days.
