Derma-Act successfully implements the gold standard in hair transplants – the FUE method(Follicular Unit Extraction), also known as the “needle” method. It is non-invasive and leaves no scars, which is why it is has established itself as the most reliable and sought-after way to treat persistent hair loss. With it, the surgeon transplants donor hair follicles, which are most often taken from the back of the head using special implant devices. The ability of the implant to adapt to the placement area ensures natural hair growth, with the appropriate direction and angle of hair growth. Results are permanent, with the new hair usually starting to grow 4 to 6 months after the transplant, and the full effect of the transplant showing up to a year after the procedure itself.

The TrichoLAB program makes a detailed and accurate diagnosis of scalp diseases, digital trichoscopy and enables us to precisely calculate the number of follicles needed for hair restoration. FotoFinder Trichoscale Pro allows us to measure the exact rate of hair loss in each patient and analyze the characteristic of alopecia. It also helps to calculate the hair follicles after the transplant – that is, the those that have been transplanted and grown back in the thinned areas. This gives our patients certainty about the increased number of follicles and that it is what they paid for. If there is a discrepancy between the promises and the final result, the additional follicles will be transplanted completely free of charge.
The procedure
At your first appointment with your surgeon, they will take a series of pictures of your scalp using FotoFinder Trichovision®. Thus, they will receive information about the number of hairs per square centimeter, the percentage of growing and falling hair, the number of follicular units per square centimeter, the thickness of the hair, the quantitative characteristics of the follicles and the distance between them.
After a detailed analysis of the collected data, the doctor will proceed to the procedure itself. It is performed with local anesthesia, lasts a few hours and does not require an additional stay at the clinic. The recovery period is minimal – you can immediately return to your normal lifestyle. Between the eighth and the twelfth month after the transplant, a control examination is scheduled. Then, with FotoFinder, new photos are taken and an analysis of the condition of the transpant is made. If after this visit there are more than 15% lost transplanted follicles, Derma-Act performs an additional operation completely free of charge.
