A clinic for dermatology and aesthetic medcine opens in Sofia
“In Bulgaria, there is a misconception about how one should take care of the largest organ in the human body – the skin. Usually, we contact a dermatologist only after a serious skin problem, and the term “aesthetic cosmetics” is associated with heavy corrections or expensive preparations”, says Dr. Konstantinos Pagidas, owner of the clinic.
“We created Derma-Act to overcome this misconception, to give wider access to quality medical services and to change the habits of Bulgarians, encouraging them to take good care of their skin. Our team is made up of ambitious specialists who truly believe that in the modern age, people should take responsibility for their health and in the 21st century have free access to the latest methods of prevention and treatment”, he added.
Derma-Act will bring together leading Bulgarian dermatologists, but will also invite a well-known international specialist every month, who will give consultations at the clinic. To expand and enable more people to get professional skin care advice, the clinic team plans to include drop-in hours every week.
The clinic is equipped with the latest innovations in the field of dermatology and medical cosmetics and will offer a number of procedures, including laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, microneedling, mesotherapy, application of botox and high quality fillers, etc.
